Lafayette Parish School's Superintendent Dr. Donald Aguillard has made a number of transfers at local schools along with several appointments.

The following is a list of the transfers and appointments:

  • Tia Trahan has been transferred from Milton Elementary/Middle School. She will serve as itinerant assistant principal at Comeaux High School and Acadiana High School.
    Tina Barnaba has been transferred from Carencro High School to Acadiana High School.
  • Jared LeBlanc will now serve Acadiana High full time rather than itinerant between Comeaux High and Acadiana High.
  • Assistant principal James Rollins has been transferred to Carencro High School from the W.D. and Mary Baker Smith Career Center.
  • Gil Douglas has been transferred from Comeaux High School to the Career Center.
  • Sam Clay voluntarily transferred from Judice Middle School to assistant principal at Lafayette High School.

In addition to the appointments and changes, there are also some vacancies in the parish as well. They are as follows:

  • Carencro High School has an assistant principal position open.
  • Comeaux High and Lafayette High also have assistant principal positions open.
  • Judice Middle School and Milton Elementary/Middle School have principal positions vacant.
