It's been 16 days since Mickey Shunick was last seen.  Today on 'Mornings With Ken & Bernie' Charlie Shunick said the search for her sister continues on foot, by boat, car, truck and ATV.

According to Charlie Shunick even though the EquuSearch Team from Texas has discontinued their search the local teams continue daily searches.  The EquuSearch Team  has pledged to return if new leads are discovered.

Shunick said, "The teams get some basic training about what to look for and how to photograph and bag any evidence they find".

Search team members are being asked to wear long pants, long sleeve shirts and closed toe shoes or boots to protect themselves from poison ivy and insect bites.  Teams are still in need of supplies like water, sports drinks and snacks.  Donations of supplies can be dropped off at Blackham Coliseum on Johnston Street.

Charlie Shunick reminded everyone that if they have tips or leads they should call the 'Find Mickey Shunick' tipline at 337-291-8633.
