Chef Mould Brings Culture To Canada And Cash Back For CODOFIL

Today on ‘Mornings With Ken and Bernie‘ Chef Pat Mould discussed his recent trip to Canada to celebrate Cajun culture. As usual any celebration of Cajun culture involves music and food and Chef Mould prepared a number of dishes familiar to Louisiana Cajuns that were probably new to most Canadians of French descent.
In addition to this event being a celebration it also was in part a fundraiser for CODOFIL which has been recently faced with a State budget reduction of forty percent. Chef Mould said,
“We brought back a $1,000 check to offset the state budget cut. I think it’s kind of ironic that we went to Canada to raise funds for a French language program in South Louisiana.”
