Child Pornography Bust Lands Sulphur Man Behind Bars

29-year-old Anthony Kinney of Sulphur sits in the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center after La. State Police say he downloaded numerous video files containing child pornography.

Spokesperson Sgt. James Anderson says, in November 2012, several computers were seized for forensic examination at a residence where Kinney was found. It was on those computers, according to Sgt. Anderson, that the illegal videos were found.

Investigators arrested Kinney on Wednesday for possessing pornography involving juveniles. Bond was set at $75,000.00.

If convicted, Kinney faces up to a $50,000 fine and from five to twenty years in prison without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
