Church Point Teen Booked On Sexual Battery Charges

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a Church Point teenager amid sexual battery allegations.

Sheriff's spokesperson Maj. Eddie Thibodeaux reported detectives received a complaint yesterday from a male juvenile alleging 17-year-old Jordan Doucet sexually assaulted him on two separate occasions.

Further investigation revealed Doucet has also sexually assaulted a female juvenile.

Doucet was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on three counts of sexual battery, His bail was set at $30,000.

“This is a tragic case and parents should talk to their kids about any inappropriate actions being done to them and report it immediately to authorities," Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said in response to the teen's arrest.
