HOUSTON (AP) — The Coast Guard has rescued a crewmember of a Gulf of Mexico offshore supply boat whose foot was severed in an accident.

The Coast Guard in Houston on Thursday afternoon dispatched a helicopter to airlift the 27-year-old man from a vessel about 5 miles off Louisiana.
