Colleges Approved For Tuition Hikes

Public colleges in Louisiana now have a green light from the Board of Regents to increase tuition rates by as much as ten percent.  The board authorized the move Thursday after the legislature approved LA Grad Act 2.0 giving colleges and universities more autonomy in setting tuition rate, but in doing so they will have to be more accountable.
