During a debate over marijuana use, Colorado Congressman Jared Polis engaged U.S. Rep. John Fleming of Louisiana into a rather entertaining - and bizarre - discussion about crawfish. Apparently, Rep. Polis thinks we all 'smoke fried crayfish' all the time.

"I'm not gonna send federal troops into Louisiana to arrest people for smoking crayfish," Polis said. "Want me to ban that and send federal troops down there? I bet maybe smoking crayfish ain’t good for you. What if it’s fried? Might clog your arteries, huh?”

For the record, marijuana use, while legal in Colorado, is still against the law on the federal level.
