The Performing Arts Society of Acadiana welcomes opera's renowned Coloratura Soprano Elizabeth Futral to Lafayette for a performance this Friday.

This Friday Elizabeth Futral will join the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and local pianist Geraldine Hubbell for a performance at the Heymann Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m.  This Tuesday Futral will also give a master class hosted by the UL Lafayette Performing Arts department to be held at the Ducrest-Gilfry Auditorium in Angelle Hall on the campus.

Friday night's performance will include Futral performing selections from Handel, Bach, Faure, Chausson including Ricky Ian Gordon's Orpheus & Euridice along with Andre Previn's A Street Car Named Desire.
