Commercial Net Season To Open On False River
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The LouisianaDepartment of Wildlife and Fisheries will open a commercial netting season on False River in Pointe Coupee Parish beginning Nov. 1.
The commercial season will allow for harvest of fish species including buffalo, catfish and carp. The season will run through Feb. 28, 2013.
