Company Vows Continued Search Near Burned Gulf Rig

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Company officials say they have brought in another dive vessel in the search for a worker who went missing after an oil platform caught fire in the Gulf of Mexico.

Black Elk Energy CEO John Hoffman says in an email sent Sunday morning that the second vessel was brought in to speed up the search and bring closure to the worker's family.

The Coast Guard called off its own search Saturday, but divers contracted by Black Elk are still looking around the platform. A body believed to be that of the other missing worker was found and brought to shore Saturday.

The Philippine Embassy in Washington has said those two workers and four others who were seriously hurt are all Filipino.
