7th District Congressman Charles Boustany visited 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today and highlighted yesterday's visit of his high-profile guest, T. Boone Pickens.  Pickens, a long-time advocate of a national energy policy was in Lafayette to tour the newly opened Apache compressed natural gas facility.  The natural gas service station is the first in Lafayette Parish and offers fuel at $1.79 a gallon.

In regards to national energy policy Boustany said,

The fact is that so many people in the Administration, Congress and the President, both parties have failed the country. Boone Pickens has recognized me as one who has led on this issue and I'm continuing to promote good energy policy for the country that will help to create good jobs and help us to achieve energy security.
