Congressman Cedric Richmond To Speak At Democratic National Convention On Thursday

Democratic Congressman Cedric Richmond will be taking the stage Thursday at 4:00 p.m. CST

"I am honored to have this opportunity to address the Nation as we unite to nominate the first female President of the United States," says Congressman Richmond in an email. "Now is the time to stand together and continue fighting for freedom and equality for all Americans."

Richmond will attempt to hold that congressional seat this fall against Baton Rouge Mayor Kip Holden.
