Congressman Landry Says Government Needs To Be Trimmed

Congressman Jeff Landry joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today and once again noted that lack of revenue was not driving the nation off the so-called fiscal cliff. According to Landry out of control spending is bringing the country to the edge of the fiscal cliff. We noted that Landry had been questioned about the consequences of the fiscal cliff by our Townsquare receptionist and asked what he had told her. Landry replied,

It's amazing. She gets it, they (those in Washington) don't. Let's think about where we are. We were exactly here 12 months ago. We were exactly here in June of 2010. We were exactly here in 2009. We have continually been here time after time.
