Lafayette Police say a man armed with a handgun went into a convenience store on North University Avenue last night, and he demanded money from the employees.

Police say no one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money, and he ran out of the store.

Lafayette Police say the suspect is described as a black male wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, camouflage pants and a white bandana over his face.
