Could Weird Object On The Moon Be Proof Of Extraterrestrial Life?

THE MOON, Solar System (KPEL) -- Amateur astronomers across the globe are pointing their eyes and telescopes toward the moon--well, at least to the Google Moon viewer, anyway--fixated on a peculiar object that has turned up on the lunar surface.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the wedge-shaped object has seven circular points evenly arranged in a right angle, and it most definitely doesn't look like it belongs there.

Widespread speculation about what the object could have ranged from something as natural as a crater to something far more exotic and other-worldly: could an alien spacecraft have touched down on the moon?

Catholic Online talked to a UFO spotter who said the strange object is proof of extraterrestrial life in the universe.

Another report has a source who says NASA and the Department of Defense were tracking two enormous objects approaching Earth and the moon as long as two years ago. At some point, NASA lost sight of the objects, the source says. Now, he says, one of those two objects is sitting on the moon.
