Council Horse Farm Vote

The Lafayette City Parish Council is expected to approve a final measure that allows the consolidated government to use up to six million dollars to buy the historic UL horse farm on Johnston Street. 

The farm will be converted into a public park.  The conversion is expected to take place within three years.
