Theriot Wants Council to Approve No Taxing District Ordinance

Lafayette Councilman William Theriot is hoping the council will pass his ordinance tomorrow night that closes the loophole that allows local government to create taxing districts or TIF's. 

Theriot tells KPEL's Suzanne Ferrara the people should vote on taxing districts not the council.  Opponents say the measure would put Lafayette at an economic disadvantage.
