Coyotes Spotted In Youngsville

Today on KPEL's "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" Wildlife and Fisheries Agent Travis Dufour discussed the recent reports of coyotes being seen in Youngsville and other rural areas of Lafayette Parish.

Dufour said coyotes and other seldom seen wildlife are migrating to populated areas due to changes in their natural habitat.  He urged anyone seeing coyotes or other predators to call Wildlife and Fisheries to report the sighting.  WildLife & Fisheries can be reached in New Iberia at 337-373-0032 and in Opelousas at 337-948-0255.
