The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office is trying to find the person or persons responsible for thefts that happened on Christmas Eve and December 26th.  Both of the crimes were committed in the Branch area of Acadia Parish.

The first theft happened in the 7000 block of the Branch Highway.  Police say that a 50 cc dirt bike, a Honda 500 four wheeler, a black utility trailer, several ice chests and frozen meat were stolen from that address.

The second crime happened in the 1300 block of Prairie Hayes Highway, when police say that a green Honda 500 four wheeler was stolen.  A White GMC truck taken at the time has since been recovered by deputies.

Police say they believe that the suspects are the same in both cases.
