Lafayette Police received a tip on Friday afternoon that they say led them to arrest 39-year-old Brandon Breaux for the January 27th robbery of an Iberia Bank location.

Last Tuesday, employees of the Iberia Bank at 3701 Johnston Street say a man walked into the bank and gave the teller a note that demanded money.

Police say the suspect never pulled out a weapon, but the man was given an undisclosed amount of money before he ran out of the building.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Friday, Lafayette Police got a Crime Stoppers tip about a potential suspect in the case.

Breaux was interviewed by detectives and arrested on a charge of simple robbery.
