Crop Duster Crashes In Acadia Parish

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office was called out after a crop duster crashed in a field Thursday afternoon.

The crop duster was found overturned in a crawfish field off of Highway 365 near Branch.

The crop duster apparently had some mechanical issue while trying to take off.

The pilot was able to walk away from the crash with no injuries.

Both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have started to investigate the crash.
