Crowley High looks to continue its incredible season as they prepare to take on East Jefferson High tonight at Gardiner Memorial Stadium.

The Gents have an explosive offense that can really light up the scoreboard. Junior RB Ty'von Griffin has put up video game-like numbers this season, rushing for over 1,700 yards and 21 TDs, despite being hurt for nearly two games. When you see his size and watch his speed and patience, it's clear to see why Coach Josh Fontenot feeds him the ball so much. And QB Pate Broussard is a smart, mobile player who 5'8" frame shouldn't fool you because he can launch the deep ball. Explosive WRs Jacq'co Price and steady Terrell Thomas give him two great targets to throw to as well.

Defensively, the Gents have standouts as well, from the massive JaJuan Delco in the middle as the noseguard to a very active linebacking corps which features Juniors Ed Yokem and Matt Doty to a secondary that features a great combination of size, speed and playmaking ability. They will be tested by this East Jefferson offense, which runs a lot of triple option out of their Wing-T sets. QB Trevor Diggs and RB Morris Sarah lead the way for the Warriors, who defeated the Edna Karr Cougars last season in the Class 4A state championship game.

Ian Auzenne (play-by-play) and Brandon Comeaux (color) will call tonight's matchup, which can be heard on Newstalk 96.5 KPEL. The victor takes on the winner of 4 Benton/29 Belle Chasse next Friday.
