Crowley Police have arrested an area man and charged him with two counts of burglary of a business after Stine Lumber was burglarized twice this year.  Chief K.P. Gibson tells KPEL that the first burglary happened in the Spring of this year and the last crime was reported last week.

Crowley Police searched the place where 28-year-old Braylon Monroe was living after they developed him as a possible suspect in the two cases.  Chief K.P. Gibson says, "During the investigation, our officers were able to conduct a search on the residence where Monroe was residing. This search led to the recovery of merchandise from both burglaries”.

Police were able to recover five thousand dollars in stolen property.
