A career criminal from Crowley is back behind bars after police say he was arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop.

Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson says 20-year-old Kaleb Gibson was pulled over for alleged traffic violations on West 2nd Street near North Avenue D on Tuesday. Officers say, as they approached the vehicle, Kaleb Gibson began discarding narcotics from his vehicle. Among the drugs allegedly on him were crack cocaine.

This is Gibson's 4th arrest since 2012 for narcotics violations.

Kaleb Gibson was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail for Possession of Alprazalm, Possession of Oxycodone, PWITD Crack Cocaine, Obstruction of Justice and Monies Derived from Drug Proceeds.
