Crowley Man Dies In Crash
October 16, 2012 4:18 PM Louisiana State Police say 37-year-old Jason Meche crashed his 2005 Ford truck off LA Highway 13 around 3:20 a.m. Tuesday.
Spokesperson Stephen Hammons says Meche was driving south on the highway when, for reasons still under investigation, he went off the side of the road and into a ditch. Hammons says his truck flipped over and he was ejected from his truck. The Acadia Parish Coroner pronounced Meche dead on the scene.
Police have taken routine toxicology samples and continue to investigate.
