A 39-year-old Crowley man is facing allegations that he intentionally set fire to a home while another person was inside.

According to Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson, officers responded to a home on Pintail Drive at 3:10 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found that smoke had filled the home.

Everyone inside had been removed from the home, Gibson said, and the fire was extinguished with limited damage.

The suspect, Louis Harder, was arrested later in the morning, Gibson said, and he was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail on a charge of aggravated arson.
