Two law enforcement agencies teamed up to make an arrest after a threat was made about a school.

Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson says that 17-year-old Junius Hayes was arrested after making a threat to bomb Acadiana High School.

Hayes was on the phone with a student who was on the Acadiana High School campus when he made the threat.

Gibson says,

“The investigation revealed that the suspect communicated with another person who was on campus that he was going to bomb Acadiana High School”.

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office work with the Scott Police Department on the case. Deputies went to Hayes' home in Crowley to arrest him.

Hayes was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail on one count of terrorizing.

It turns out, Hayes used to be a student at Acadiana High School.
