Crowley Police Investigating A Double Homicide

Crowley Police are asking for the public's assistance in investigating a double homicide that occurred Friday night.

Police Chief K.P. Gibson said the shooting occurred on the 300 block of West Second St. just before midnight.

According to the details of the investigation, it is believed an individual approached the victims' parked vehicle, shooting both victims. and fled on foot. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other died later at a local hospital.

Though Gibson said no motive has been determined, evidence recovered at the scene points to this being a narcotics-related incident.
