CROWLEY, La. (KPEL) — Police in Crowley are investigating the armed robbery of an American Cash Advance Store over the weekend.

Police Chief K.P. Gibson says the suspect can be seen on surveillance footage walking into the store from the front door, pulling out a black semi-automatic handgun, then demanding all the money from the employee inside.

Police say the suspect was last seen driving away in a late-model white sedan.

Gibson says the suspect was wearing faded jeans, a teal tee shirt, and a light green cap.
