Dead Body Found In Centerville Cane Field

A farmer finds a dead body in a cane field earlier today. Around 11:30 AM, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office were called out to the field on Highway 317 in Centerville. Authorities confirmed what the farmer saw, but have been unable to identify the remains. An autopsy is scheduled with the Parish Coroner's Office. Police are still investigating.
