Dead Inmate Prompts Investigation In St. Landry Parish

Deputies in St. Landry Parish say an inmate was found dead in his cell from an apparent suicide. Port Barre Police Chief Deon Boudreaux says they found Charles Guillory dead in his cell. He apparently suffocated himself with his bedsheets. Guillory was being held on domestic battery charges. The Sheriff's Office is investigating his death.
