Dead Man Accused Of Holding Girlfriend Hostage Identified

The man accused of taking his girlfriend hostage Thursday in an Evangeline Parish trailer park, is being identified as Nathan Massey. He was ultimately shot and killed by La. State Police.

That's according to Master Trooper Brooks David, who says the fatal shot was fired after several hours when the victim broke out a window and screamed for help. That's when a trooper saw Massey and pulled the trigger as he became visible to them.
