Pittsburgh Steelers RB DeAngelo Williams recently revealed that when his daughter received a participation ribbon, he gave it back to her teacher.

Some felt that he was being a bit too dramatic and should let the kids get "rewarded" for playing while others believe Williams is right, and that kids shouldn't get "prizes" just for participating.

He revealed that his daughter ended up getting first place in the next event.

What do you think about kids getting awarded for simply participating?
