SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office says the death of a 6-month-old girl found in a locked SUV in an employee parking lot of LSU Hospital has been ruled accidental.

Coroner Todd Thoma tells The Times the death of the infant, Lourdes Marie Duvall, appears to be the result of a tragic accident.

Lourdes' father, Dr. Lucas Maier Duvall, reportedly found his daughter still strapped into her child seat in his black Range Rover about 4 p.m. Wednesday in an employee parking lot of LSU Hospital. The girl had reportedly been in the car for several hours.

Police said no charges have been filed against Lucas Duvall, but they have not decided to rule out the possibility.
