Debt Ceiling Talk With Fox News’ Rich Johnson

On "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" Fox News Radio's Rich Johnson reported from Washington D.C. on the latest sentiments about the arguements over whether or not to raise the country's debt ceiling.

Bernie and Ken were asking Johnson about what politicians are really saying about the problem, and he alluled to the fact that there is some panic going on especially since Moody's Investor Service says this week they are considering downgrading the government's triple-A credit rating. They may make that bold move if Congress doesn't raise the debt ceiling by mid summer.

Johnson says the issue of raising the debt ceiling is showdown, and he state Treasury Secretary Timonth Geitner came out of one meeting claiming the talks were good and decision would come soon, but when he spoke to the Republicans attending that meeting they balked at that suggestion.
