Dee Stanley Offers Candidacy To Parish-President Race

Lafayette City-Parish Chief Administrative Officer Dee Stanley has publicly announced his candidacy for the upcoming City-Parish President race today.

Fellow Republican State Rep. Joel Robideaux is, so far, the only other opponent in the race.

According to KATC-TV 3, both candidates have already begun fundraising for the campaign.

The early announcements have come months before qualifying begins in August.

Current City-Parish President Joey Durel’s term limits dictate that he step down at the end of 2015.
