SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Delta Air Lines will offer 10 flights daily from Shreveport Regional Airport to Memphis and Atlanta hubs beginning in July.

The Times reports seven of the flights will serve the Atlanta hub, and three will serve the Memphis hub. This is the first time since 2004 that Delta has offered that many daily flights from Shreveport,

Delta typically only offers eight flights a day to their two hubs from Shreveport.

Shreveport Airport Authority Chairman Bishop L. Lawrence Brandon says April marked the twenty-second consecutive month of increased numbers of passengers flying out of Shreveport Regional Airport.

The total number of passengers using the airport is up 13 percent with 175,504 passengers in 2012 compared to 155,902 during the same time in 2011.
