PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) — Dennis Rodman says he's sorry for implying that American missionary Kenneth Bae was to blame for his own detention in North Korea.

Rodman says when he made the comments in an interview with CNN, he had been drinking and was under stress because members of the basketball team he had brought to the North were leaving because of family pressures.

Rodman had put together a team of former ball players to play a friendly game in North Korea on leader Kim Jong Un's birthday.
