Denver Parents Accused Of Severly Neglecting Children

DENVER (AP) — The parents of four young boys are scheduled to appear in a Denver court today, after authorities found the children malnourished and living in uninhabitable conditions.

Authorities say the children of Wayne Sperling and Lorinda Bailey — ages 2, 4, 5 and 6 — were not toilet trained, never went to school and communicated with each other in grunts.

The parents are charged with felony child abuse.
