A man that has been in America's living rooms for years has passed away.  Fox News is reporting that Dick Clark suffered a massive heart attack on Tuesday morning after having gone to St. Johns Hospital in Santa Monica, California for an outpatient procedure.  He died this morning at the age of 82.

Dick Clark was known for years as the host of American Bandstand.  He also was known for work on game shows, the American Music Awards and that classic TV Show of the 80's Super Bloopers and Practical Jokes.

He was also a part of New Years' Celebrations every year as the host of New Years' Rockin' Eve.  In more recent years, he was joined by Ryan Seacrest on the show after a stroke limited his ability to continue hosting.

He is survived by his wife and three kids.
