I was today years old when I learned you can indeed take a left turn at a red light in Louisiana. Now before you get all crazy, it's legal only in a specific situation. Here's what's going on...

Drivinglaws.org says "In Louisiana, a motorist can do a left turn after stopping at a red light only from a one-way street onto another one-way street."

So, if you're on a one-way street you can turn left on red but only if the street you're turning onto is a one-way street as well.

Mind  = Blown

Did you know about this?
