If you saw the DirecTV blimp flying over Acadiana this weekend, we know where it landed.

We were broadcasting live at Courtesy Automotive when Chris Reed noticed something in the distance. When he suggested it was a blimp that was on it's way to the Super Bowl in Houston, I remember chuckling to myself saying "yeah, right"—but about 20 minutes later, my phone was out and I was filming the video you see above.

Well, just days later I get the photo below from a friend who works in Houston, and I guess Chris was right!

So when you see the DirecTV blimp flying over the Super Bowl this weekend in Houston, know that it arrived by way of I-10 in Cajun Country!
