Due to the upcoming solar eclipse, viewing glasses are in short supply.

We highly encourage you to protect your eyeballs!

The truth of the matter is this. We're not going to get a 100% eclipse here in Acadiana. We'll have about 75%. The sun is extremely dangerous to your eyes if you look right at it for any length of time.

That being said, many people want to view this very rare phenomenon. Because so many people are planning ahead, the supply for viewing glasses are short. There is still a way for you to experience the eclipse.

Fair warning, it may look a little silly, but you'll still get to see it.

There are two methods explained in the video of how to build your own viewer. The first is probably the easiest way to go.
