Do You Agree With The $3.4 Million Settlement By Lafayette Consolidated Government?

It was announced today that Lafayette Consolidated Government had settled a lawsuit to the tune of $3.4 Million.  That was over the blocking of a waste transfer facility on the city's north side.

But was this a good thing?  Some might say that it was a small price to pay to keep it from happening.  Others might say that this is too much money to pay for any sort of settlement.  What say you?
