Dole Recalls Bagged Spinach In 13 States
According to a food safety news website, the Dole corporation has voluntarily recalled some bags of fresh spinach in 13 states.
The list of states affected does NOT include Louisiana (Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin).
The company cited possible salmonella contamination as the reason for the recall.
