Dollar Tree On Moss Street Robbed Saturday Night

Two Dollar Tree employees wrapping up paperwork and closing down business for the day were met with a handgun pointed at them as they were trying to leave Saturday night.

Cpl. Paul Mouton with Lafayette Police says it was after hours at the store, located in the 3800 block of Moss Street, and the two employees were leaving the office, only to come face-to-face with a suspect holding the gun. After stealing an undisclosed amount of cash, the victims say he ran away.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a gray hoodie, gray sweat pants and a black ski mask.
