DOTD Announces I-10 Lane Closures

Wednesday the Department of Transportation and Development will be closing one lane of I-10 Westbound to work on the truck scales. That lane closure will occur between 8pm Wednesday and 6am Thursday. In addition there will be a rolling lane closure on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge starting in the Eastbound direction and then moving to the Westbound direction, between mile marker 135 to 127, beginning at 8pm and lasting until 5am for the rest of the month of December. The lane closures will be necessary for part of the I-10 Restriping Project. These rolling lane closures will be ongoing throughout the rest of the month pending daily traffic and weather conditions. Daily notices will be provided.
