Dr. John Sutherlin – Candidates Evaded Foreign Policy

Today on ‘Mornings With Ken and Bernie‘ political science professor at ULM, Dr. John Sutherlin analyzed last night’s Presidential debate. Dr. Sutherlin said he, another professor and 100 students watched the debate together last night and if they were expecting a discussion of foreign policy, they didn’t get it. According to Sutherlin both candidates took every opportunity to steer clear of foreign policy to focus on domestic issues.
Sutherlin said,
In one part of the discussion, the topic was supposed to be about Israel and before I knew it we were dragged into ObamaCare, auto industry, taxes and deficit spending…you could tell how uncomfortable both candidates were discussing foreign policy.
According to Sutherlin,
Obama has never learned foreign policy. Even his supporters were cringing when he described his drone program. I don’t know about you guys but I’ve never heard of a Nobel Peace Prize winner having a kill list.
