Drew Brees To Visit Acadiana

Drew Brees is one of the most honored athletes in Louisiana sports history, and he's not done yet. The list of accolades is long, Comeback Player of the Year, Walter Payton Man of the Year, First team All Pro, Super Bowl MVP, Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year, Bart Starr Man of the Year, and the list goes on.

He's coming to Acadiana to honor outstanding high school & prep athletes. Drew will be guest speaker at the inaugural Acadiana Best of Preps Banquet. The event will be held May 17th, at the Cajundome Convention Center. Judi Tezotis of the Daily Advertiser said, “Our entire staff at The Daily Advertiser is thrilled to bring Drew Brees to Acadiana to honor both male and female top prep athletes."  Outstanding athletes from multiple sports, including baseball, football, football, volleyball, softball, golf, swimming, cross country, soccer, basketball, tennis, and track and field will be recognized.
